Comfort Quilters

The Comfort Quilters are in the seventeenth year of assembling quilts. We use donated and personally purchased fabric, as well as purchased quilt batting to construct the quilts. We also are grateful recipients of several Thrivent grants. We make quilts of varying sizes, depending on the piece of fabric. There are a core group of six women and another five who come as they are able to assemble the quilts. In a normal year we complete between 120 and 150 quilts.

Meetings are held the first and third Monday of the month at 1p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We welcome anyone who is willing to help cut, pin, assemble and knot the quilts. Sewing skills are not necessary. This is truly a rewarding ministry! We use donated fabric, get to spend a few hours together and help comfort those in need. Please come join us!
