  • Adult Gospel Study

    10:10am to 10:50am

Interested adults gather during the Christian Education Hour (10:10-10:50 am on Sundays) to discuss the scripture readings presented each week to find increased understanding. Lesson context is considered historically, spiritually and for the present. The group is always open to others who are interested in sharing their faith experience and insight.

COVID Update:  We have returned to the Adult Gospel Study, meeting each Sunday at 11:15 am in the Church Library, with options for larger space. This class focuses on discussion of the Bible readings used each week during the Worship service. Discussion is open and informal and it is great to just listen. Beginners are welcomed. For those who wish to join remotely, we also have a Zoom meeting. Please contact Mark Givens to get Zoom details: mpgivens@ameritech.net

  • Wednesday Bible Study

    7:00 pm

The Adult Bible Study is changing focus and time for the Fall. We will be reading and discussing a spiritual classic, Celebration of Discipline: The Path to Spiritual Growth by Richard J. Foster. If you’ve ever wondered how to incorporate prayer or study or solitude into your life, or asked how worship serves as a spiritual practice, this is the class for you!

Please purchase the book and accompanying workbook journal in advance – both are available on Amazon or can be ordered from your local bookstore. We will meet on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm. starting on September 11, 2019. As always, you are welcome to come once, once in a while, or every week. Pastor Robin is a certified spiritual director as well as an ordained pastor, and has led many retreats on spiritual practices. She’s looking forward to sharing this gold mine of Christian spirituality with friends at Prince of Peace. Feel free to invite other friends as well!
