We believe in God! That's likely not surprising. But when we say we believe in God we know that we can only know about God what God has made known to us. What we know about God is best found in the person of Jesus of Nazareth.
God was in Christ (Jesus) reconciling the world to himself. That is a quote from the Apostle Paul (2 Corinthians 5:9 to be exact) and it helps one understand what we believe is the most important point to know about God. The key event in Jesus' life was his death. Ours is a theology of the cross.

God's love and forgiveness are free gifts. We don't do a single thing to deserve them, but yet God continues to love us even when we are unlovable.
Martin Luther famously said, The Christian is totally free in Christ, subject to no one. The Christian is wholly bound by love, the servant of all.
Our response to God's grace is to celebrate this gift through service to others.
It is important that we gather to offer God our shared thanks and praise. Our worship service is the rehearsal for the part we play on the stage of our lives.
